Wow... I am so sorry...

Wow... I have just totally forgotten about my blog... I am so sorry...  Also, you may have noticed the color change, so I just want to inform you that it is for the next part of my post. :}
My birthday is coming up, so I wanted to do something special and I decided to post an excerpt of my book, The Wizards of Imagi! Here it is!

He shouldn’t have said it. He knew if he had just kept his big mouth shut, Erik would have just walked away. But no! He had to say it! It's just, he was so tired of being pushed around by Erik! Of course, saying it only made him Erik’s punching bag once again. If only he hadn't seen Julia! For some reason, when ever he saw her, he felt different, like a whole other guy. A guy who was strong, confident, heroic, and “Stupid.” he said under his breath so as to hopefully not make it worse for himself.

Erik was surprised to hear the wimp say anything, actually. It was a simple little phrase but Erik had a reputation to uphold and he wasn't going to let Will ruin it with that one stupid, half-witted, moronic little phrase! “Your gonna pay for that, Will B. Gone!” he said, turning toward Will. Of course, he had to use the nickname he gave him to make sure that the message 'No one calls Erik Schneider names and gets away with it!' got through.

“Will! Run!” Julia said. Will looked around, distracted. Then he saw Julia waving for him to run and realization dawned on him. She was warning him! Will decided to listen to her and he took off running through the school.

“Get back here, Will!” Erik said, taking off after him. “I'm not done with you yet!”

Will didn't care. Julia had warned him, and that meant she must like him some-what. And that meant everything to him. To him, the world had just started to spin, to have color, to have meaning! And it was amazing!

SMACK!!!

Suddenly, the world wasn't so fine. Will was dizzy and confused. One second, he was running like the wind! Then the next, he was flat on the ground with something warm running down his face. And his nose kinda hurt, too. What happened? He thought. He looked up and saw a wall of lockers towering above him like giants. And they had a dent that looked sorta like his face. Then Will understood what had happened. He had been so busy thinking about Julia that he hadn't been looking where he was going and he ran into the lockers. “Hahaha! And I thought pummeling you was fun! I should have just let you do it for me!” Erik said. He had been running after Will when he saw him run right into the lockers. Erik knew it had to of hurt like mad, but he couldn't help himself! It totally looked like the kid did it on purpose, even though that was highly unlikely.

And that's when Tommy came. Tommy was “The King” of Halton Junior High, and EVERYONE knew it. And if you were new, he made sure you didn't EVER forget. And Erik was one of those “lucky” kids who got to do Tommy's dirty work for him. The only reason anyone worked for Tommy was because of the reward, which was not getting bullied by Tommy and his possy.

“Well, well, well! Look who just ran into the lockers! Why were you running away from Erik, Will? He wasn't going to hurt you! Were you, Erik?” Tommy said, grinning wickedly.

“What? Oh. Of course not! Why would I do that?” said Erik, a little more than confused.

Will was starting to understand who was actually in charge here. But he still didn't understand why Erik didn't just stand up to Tommy. I mean, Erik was bigger than Tommy, so why did he follow Tommy's orders? Why didn't he just takeover the chain of command?!

And that's when Julia came running over. She looked at Tommy and Erik for a second, then down at Will on the floor. Then she looked back at Tommy and said, “Why, Tommy? Why do you pick on the ones who can't defend themselves? What kind of joy do you get from that?”

Will knew she was trying to help, but really? Was she stupid or something? Tommy had a whole army of bullies at his command! And they were all from different grades, so it wasn't like the teachers could do much! If Tommy had anything, he had strategy. Because he had kids from every grade level, not one of the teachers knew who they all were. And even if they found a bunch and took care of them, there was always more where they came from.

“Julia, I get you're trying to help, but you're not. You will most likely end up getting bullied your self.” Will said.

“I don't care. What Tommy is doing is wrong, and I'm going to put a stop to it!” said Julia, trying to sound brave. She knew what Tommy was doing was wrong. And she knew that if someone didn't do something, it would just keep getting worse, until no one could stop it. And if that happened-Julia shuddered. She didn't want to think about it.

“Okay. Your funereal.” shrugged Tommy as five, big, enormous guys walked out from behind the lockers and out of the door-ways. Okay, so they weren’t THAT big, but you get the idea!

“Whoa! Is this really necessary?” asked Erik, backing up with his hands up. This is getting out of hand, Erik thought.

Tommy turned toward Erik. “What, you're chickening out on me? Come on! It will be fun!” he said. Tommy didn't like it when someone turned on him. He REALLY didn't like it. It meant he was losing control, and he didn't like it when he lost control. Because if ONE turned and got away with it, the others would start to doubt. And if they started to doubt, then they would start to turn THEMSELVES! Then he would be a nobody! A NOBODY! Can you imagine?!?! He would be ruined! Ruined, I tell you! RUINED!

Tommy was yanked back to reality when he saw movement. “Where do you think you're going?” he said to Erik. “We're not done yet!”

“RUN!” yelled Erik. He took of running down the hall with Will and Julia close behind.

“GET THEM!” yelled Tommy, and the five guys from Tommy's gang started running after them.

Erik lead Will and Julia down the hall. When it intersected, he tuned down the hall that led towards the janitors closet. Once they got there, Erik opened the door. “What!? Are you serious! That's the first place they’d look!” Julia said.

“On the contrary, Julia. I know those guys. They may be big, but they aren't very smart. This is actually the last place they'd look.”

“Oh yeah? And how do you know that?” Julia said doubtfully.

“Because I've had to hide in here before.” Erik sighed. “Look, I don't care if you come in or not, just be warned, those five are WAY worse than me.” And with that said, Erik turned and walked into the closet.

“I don't trust him.” Julia said.

“Do we have a choice?” said Will.

“Will, we're talking about the kid who has bullied you since 3rd grade. Are you saying that you want to be in the same closet with him? You must have hit your head harder than I thought.”

“I know who he is and what he's done. I'm just saying, its either him, or them.” he said, pointing down the hall toward the sounds of Tommy yelling orders at his giant goons. “We have a better chance with him than them.”

“I get your point. But still! Its Erik we're talking about!”

“I don't care. I'll take my chances with him.” said Will as he walked toward the closet. When he got to the door, he turned and said, “You coming?” Julia let out an exasperated sigh, and said, “Yeah, I guess I am.” They walked into the closet together.

When they were all in, Erik shut the door. “So they don't suspect anything.” he whispered to Julia, in case she might blow up at him.

“No, duh!” she whispered back, throwing her hands up.

Will smiled. Just what I thought they would do, He thought to himself.

Just then, Will realized that the closet had a faint glow about it. “Wait. Guys. You see that?”

“See what?” Erik asked.

“The light, stupid!” said Julia, smacking him on the head.

“OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?” Erik yelled, clearly in pain.

“Guys! Be quiet! They might hear you!” whispered Will.

Will was right. The bullies were getting close enough that they might be able to hear them if they weren’t careful.

Will, Erik and Julia went quite as the five bullies came closer to the janitors closet. They could hear them talking through the door, but it was slightly muffled.

“Where did they go?!” someone asked.

“Maybe they hid in the closet!” said another.

“Maybe. But remember, he's already hid there once. He wouldn't hide there again, would he? It's too obvious!” someone else said.

“Quite, doofuses! I'm trying to listen!” a new voice said angrily. At the sound of the new voice, Erik's face paled considerably. “Hmm, I guess they're not here. I could have SWORN I heard them, though!” the new voice said after a moment. Once the voice had stopped, Erik put his finger to his lips, as if to say, “Stay quite if you value your lives!”

After a while they heard foot steps walking away, but still Erik kept his finger to his lips. Only once they could no longer hear the foot steps did Erik FINALY let his finger down.

“Who was THAT!?” Julia asked.

“THAT was Joey, Tommy's second in command. I had hoped that he wasn't going to come looking for us.” replied Erik, looking down.

“Why?” asked Julia.

Erik looked up. “Because. He's the one who finally found me.” he said, his voice hinting to deeper feelings. And his face was still VERY pale.

“Are you going to be okay?” Will asked. He was slightly concerned for Erik. I mean, in all the years that Erik had bullied him, never ONCE had he shown any normal people feelings. Until today, that is.

“Yeah, I'm fine. Now what's this about the closet glowing?”

So, did you like it? I sure hope so! Happy birthday, even if it isn't your birthday! Till next time!
